Juice and meat and beach and christo

OK. I have like 6 minutes spit out everything we´ve done over the last week.5, so here goes:

-had a mango milkshake
-bought strappy metallic sandals for like $12
-had a great churrasco (grilled meat gorge-fest) with the most ridiculous (legal) hearts of palm I~ve ever seen
-went to the first starbucks in Brazil
-bought 2 pairs of havaianas - one from the Cartunisas series, which is designed by famous cartoonists, and the other has a platform/heel
-went to Rio, got burned to a crisp on Ipanema, which is an AMAZING beach. Best Caipirinhas, beautiful scenery, sand, and people.
-Saw the Christ
-Saw Sugarloaf
-Had dinner at Zaza in Ipanema - Tiago had something that came with passionfruit-infused mashed mandioc and it totally flipped my lid. Must try to replicate (will be impossible).
-Saw Ivete Sangalo at the Maracana stadium
-Watched P become a born-again Brazilian as she discovered real Passionfruit Gelato
-Went snorkeling in Angra Dos Reis - most gorgeous place on Earth? Watch out, Santorini...
-Watched M & P "hurry up and get ready so that we can go lie in the hammocks!!!" at the bed & breakfast in Angra.
-Walked around Colonial Paraty and had a private tour of an old church
-Played in a giant waterfall
-went to the Museum of Modern Art in Sao Paulo
-got fucking exhausted and rained on in Caragua this morning
-had Graviola juice - my new best friend - very mild, kind of like pear nectar crossed with coconut water.
-saw lots of lizards
-bought CDs
-missed my mom

Now off to Ilhabela for sushi on the beach!
